Painted Pyrography
Commonly known as Wood-burning, it is the art of decorating wood or leather by burning in a design.
Throughout most of my work I’ve found myself exploring the relationship between humanity and nature. Whether my medium be burned into wood or leather, I continue to revisit the theme of spiritual connection that unites us to the trees, the plants, and the animals. I enjoy this play of human emotion closely tied up with the simplicity of the natural world; the two concepts seemingly separate, but at the same time, dependent on one another.
For The Love of Colour
From coat hooks and trivets to wall art and jewelry, every piece I create is truly one of a kind. I love letting the natural grain and unique knots of the wood guide my process, making each item absolutely unique.
You’ll find everything from wistful, winding paisley patterns and detailed fungi illustrations to playful, anthropomorphized animals, all brought to life with vibrant colours.

Holiday Jewelry Workshop
This November I’m sharing my passion and leading a workshop on burned leather jewelry! You’ll design and create 2–3 pairs of unique earrings from hand-burned and painted leather, perfect for keeping or gifting. You’ll add personality and flair with acrylic paints, metallic accents, and other festive touches, making each pair of earrings as unique as the person who wears them. We’ll assemble and finish your jewelry, ensuring it is polished, durable, and ready to shine!
